She has memories of her Grandma Ann immersed in the church community and according to Claire "she loved to bake, yet she always fasted from cakes, biscuits and the “sweet stuff” for 40 days and 40 nights during the Lenten period". These 100% homemade and 100% natural energy balls are great if you would like to remove refined sugar from your diet or just have less of it but still gain that 'sweet kick' in your day.  150 g Almonds
 10 g Chia Seeds
 15 g Raw Cacao Powder
 150 g Medjool Dates

Blend until dough like and roll into balls- keep them as they are or roll in chia seeds or raw cacao.

Makes approx 14 balls.

Store in airtight sealed container, best eaten fresh but they last for 7-10 days. They can be frozen too!
